All designated responsible insurance producers must hold an active non-resident or Resident Producer license in Oregon.
Adjuster, consultant, life settlement broker, third party administrator, vehicle rental company, portable electronics, and self-service storage license do not require a Designated Responsible Licensed Producer.
Applicants with a status reason of revoked or suspended may not reapply electronically.

Life settlement broker and third party administrator (TPA) must reapply the day after expiration date.
Adjusters and consultants may reapply after two (2) years of expiration date. If within two years of expiration date, applicant must late renew through Non-Resident Licensing Renewal application.
insurance producer, Vehicle Rental Company, Portable Electronics, and Self-Service Storage License applicant may reapply for a new license one year after expiration date. If within one year of expiration date, applicant must late renew through Non-Resident Licensing Renewal application.
Managing general agents, reinsurance intermediary brokers, and reinsurance intermediary managers must hold an active line of authority from the insurance producer class.
Applicants applying for personal lines may not actively hold or be applying for the casualty line of authority. Personal lines is included in the casualty line.
Business entities must enter their license number as part of the application process for LOA additions.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.
