If you have already submitted an application, please contact the Insurance Producer Licensing Unit of the Maryland Insurance Administration.
Please do not submit duplicate applications.

This announcement applies to all producers who intend to change their resident state. Before submitting an application, please read the Maryland Insurance Administration's frequently asked questions at Submitting an unnecessary application will result in a delay to change your resident state.

Yes Applicant can reinstate a license electronically.
N/A Applicant can add lines of authority to an existing active license electronically.

License Printing

To print your license, click the state on NIPR's Producer Licensing Map.

Business Rules

Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.

Please note that license class names can vary by state.
