NIPR EXPANDS CONTACT CHANGE REQUEST (CCR) TO BUSINESS ENTITIES

KANSAS CITY, MO The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) launched an expansion of its Contact Change Request (CCR) product giving Business Entities the ability to change contact information through nipr.com including mailing and/or business address, email and telephone number. The updates will enable licensed Business Entities including, agencies and brokerages to utilize NIPR’s online tool to satisfy their regulatory requirements for reporting contact change information to the states.

“This new capability will streamline the reporting process for state regulators and the insurance industry. CCR for Business Entities enhances the customer experience by eliminating the need for a separate state-by-state notification process for updating an entity’s contact information,” said NIPR CEO, Karen Stakem Hornig.

The new enhancement is now available in four states - Arizona, North Carolina, North Dakota and Rhode Island. NIPR plans a phased rollout for future states. As states are ready to go live, they will be listed on our website here.
