KANSAS CITY, MO – The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) released its new 2024-2026 strategic plan today, titled Shaping Our Future. The plan outlines renewed commitments to advancing people and organizational culture, customer experience, technology, and product.

NIPR Chief Executive Officer Karen Stakem Hornig says, “NIPR has reached new levels of achievement in responsiveness, systems, and agility in serving the insurance industry. Looking forward, we will build on our momentum to further strengthen our teams, advance technology, and refine the experience for NIPR’s customers.”

The plan outlines a commitment to enhancing a diverse and virtual work environment while scaling the organization’s business model. Team performance, skills development, and employee satisfaction will be paramount.

NIPR continues its focus on the customer experience and will enhance outreach and communication as well as business development. Resources and tools will be expanded to implement a self-service capacity and improve systems, including those for customer feedback and billing.

The data-driven culture of NIPR will be fostered by integrating additional data into NIPR’s Enterprise Data Warehouse, delivering improvements to software, process, accessibility, and improving the operational health and reliability of products and services.

As the leading compliance resource for insurance professionals, NIPR’s new strategic plan commits to user-centric design principles, determining areas for cost savings and improved efficiency, and strengthening the regulatory data supply chain to provide enhanced value and service.

The strategic planning process involved NIPR’s management team and was led by the Board of Directors and CEO. The plan builds on the achievements of Our Bridge to the Future, NIPR Strategic Plan 2021-2023.
