NIPR ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBER

KANSAS CITY, Mo - The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR), a not-for-profit technology company that provides licensing and compliance resources for insurance professionals, welcomes Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner Mark Afable to serve on its board. Afable was recently elected to the board by the NAIC at this year’s Commissioners Conference held in Lake Buena Vista, Fl.

"Commissioner Afable brings a fresh, new outlook to the team and provides us with a wealth of knowledge," said Karen Stakem Hornig, NIPR CEO. "We're very excited to welcome Commissioner Afable to our board. He will add a perspective to the board that enhances our ability to provide guidance and help attain the goals and mission of the organization."

Afable has over 38 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to his appointment as Commissioner, Afable served as the Chief Legal Officer with American Family Insurance, overseeing corporate legal, government affairs and compliance, litigation and protective services.

His term is effective immediately.
