As the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) celebrates 30 years of service to state insurance regulators and the insurance industry, the organization’s Board of Directors has announced a planned leadership transition. Chief Executive Officer Karen Stakem Hornig will retire in June 2027, with Chief Product and Technology Officer Eric Saul set to succeed her as CEO.

NAIC Membership has approved a series of improvements to the Uniform Licensing Application, adopted across all 54 jurisdictions. These updates, planned for Q2 2026, strengthen consistency, reduce ambiguity, and support a smoother licensing experience for regulators, producers, and industry partners.

Adam G, Morris, Esq., has been appointed to represent the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) on NIPR’s Board. Morris serves as the Managing Corporate Counsel, Property and Casualty, in the Office of the General Counsel at Farmers Insurance. Morris has served on the legal team at Farmers since 2000 and has an extensive background.
