ADDITIONAL LICENSING THROUGH NIPR NOW AVAILABLE FOR NEW YORK AGENTS & BROKERS

KANSAS CITY, MO The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) announced today that it is now processing Resident and Nonresident Licensing and Renewals for all major lines and core limited lines license offerings for individual applicants in New York. 

Thousands of insurance professionals across New York now have access to NIPR's centralized services to manage their licensing needs.

"This partnership with the New York State Department of Financial Services demonstrates our commitment to provide streamlined producer licensing services across the country to support state regulators and the insurance industry,” said NIPR CEO Karen Stakem Hornig. “I’m proud of the work our teams have done to offer cost-effective licensing solutions to individual producers in New York.”

“Today's announcement builds on the Department’s tech transformation, ensuring operational capabilities meet industry needs,” said New York State Superintendent of Financial Services Adrienne A. Harris. “Processing licensing and renewals through NIPR allows DFS to provide a more streamlined licensing experience for regulated individuals and entities.”

NIPR is scheduled to expand New York’s licensing services by providing Resident and Nonresident Business Entity licensing and renewals for agents and brokers along with Adjuster licensing early next year.
