Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
- Submit surplus lines for individuals.
- Add lines of authority (amend) to an existing active license.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's Non-Resident License Application.
- Print license electronically.
Business Rules
Reinstatement period starts on the 4th day after expiration up to one (1) year. After one (1) year applicant must apply as new. Licenses stay active up to three (3) days past expiration and applicant will be able to submit renewal up to 3 days past expiration date through renewal application.
P.O. Box addresses will not be accepted for resident or business addresses.
Applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.
Applicant's name, birth date, license number, state of residence, Tax ID, and National Producer Number (NPN) must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant may not apply for a license in their own resident state.
An affiliation is not required and the applicant may skip the "Affiliations" page on the uniform application.
Applicants for the variable line of authority (LOA) must supply a FINRA Central Registry Depository (CRD) number on the application. If you need to verify your CRD number you may use the Broker Search feature found on FINRA's website.
If a Motor Service Club applicant has a resident state that does not offer a Motor Service Club (MSC) License, but specifically includes it under the Property line of authority (i.e., Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, South Dakota, Wisconsin), then applicant's non-resident, Oklahoma property license will include the MSC authority.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
