Apply for a license

To apply for a license in Oklahoma, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t apply for the lines for which you have qualified, contact the state to verify that they have received the exams and any necessary pre-licensing education completion information. Also ensure that they have reported this to NIPR with the correct last name, social security number and date of birth.

Renew a license

To renew a license in Oklahoma, visit LicenseHub.

If you can’t renew a particular line offered via NIPR, verify that the line is actively held in your resident state. If the line is not held, you cannot request that line via NIPR.

Cancel or surrender a line of authority

To surrender a line of authority, complete the Oklahoma License Surrender Request form. Mail or email the completed form using the contact information at the bottom of this page.

Report changes to Affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers

To request a mid-term change to Designated Responsible Licensed Producers (DRLPs), submit a written request on agency letterhead, signed by an owner/officer. The letter should be sent as a PDF attachment to an email.

The letter should include:

Agency name, license number and/or EIN

DRLPs full name(s) and social security number(s) and/or Oklahoma license number(s).

Send the email to Licensing@OID.OK.gov.

Report changes to Owners, Officers, Partners or Directors

Providing notice of updated owners, officers, partners or directors is not required by Oklahoma. Visit the Agencies/Business Entities page of their website for more information.
