Applicant Can

  • Submit contact change request for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB)
  • Submit Email Changes

  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Non-Resident Licensees only)
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Non-Resident Licensees only)
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Non-Resident Licensees only)

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB)
  • Track counties
  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Resident licensees).
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Resident licensees).
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Resident licensees).

Business Rules

  • Address must match respective resident/home state license address.

  • P.O. Box is not allowed for business or residence address.

  • In order to submit a CCR to Maryland, applicant’s licensing record must be in an active or expired status on PDB.

  • For insurance producers holding a non-resident license in this state: Changes to the state of an address from what is on file are allowed only when the address is copied from the insurance producer's primary resident state. However, the address being copied must already be on file in the primary resident state, or it must have the same state as the address on file in the primary resident state.

  • NOTE: Address changes resulting in residency status changes are not permitted online.
