Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit Adjuster for individuals electronically.
- Submits Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
- Print licenses electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Partially renew license.

- If an applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions, please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) Rules:
- The Adjuster Designated Home State selected must have an active non-resident adjuster license on the PDB.
- In order for an applicant to designate a home state during the renewal process, the applicant must have an active non-resident Adjuster license on the Producer Database (PDB) and MUST NOT have an active resident Adjuster license on PDB (in any state).
- If applicant holds an active resident producer (non-adjuster) license in a state that licenses resident adjusters and is designating an active non-resident adjuster license as their home state license, the designation of a home state will not be allowed.
- If applicant holds an active resident producer (non-adjuster) license in a state that DOES NOT license resident adjusters - and is designating an active non-resident adjuster license, the designation of a home state will be allowed.
- Applicants may NOT select Washington as Adjuster Designated Home State while renewing the Washington Non Resident Adjuster license.
- Public Adjusters cannot designate a home state.
Renewal Periods

Renewal Period: Ninety (90) days prior to expiration date.
Late Renewal Period: Up to sixty (60) days past expiration date.
