Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
- Submit partial renewals.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit renewals for major lines of authority.
- Submit renewals for limited lines of authority.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application for an Adjuster license, the applicant MUST NOT have an active resident adjuster license on PDB (in any state). Note: Public Adjusters will be treated as Producers.
Applicant must provide either residence or business address that is not in the state of South.
In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application for Adjuster the business and residence address must not be in a state that licenses adjusters. If one address is not in a state that offers adjuster licensing - allow.
Adjuster - In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State initial application Adjuster the applicant MUST NOT have an active resident adjuster (non public adjuster) license on PDB (in any state). Note: Public Adjusters will be treated as Producers.
Adjuster - In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State initial application Adjuster the applicant MUST NOT have an active non-resident adjuster license on PDB (in any other state). Note: Public Adjusters will be treated as Producers.
In order for an applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application for an Adjuster license, the applicant's Designated Home State on the Producer Database (PDB) must be South Carolina.
Applicant must provide a valid residence address. Residence address may not contain a P.O. Box.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.
