License management
Apply for a license
To apply for a license in South Carolina, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t apply for the lines for which you have qualified, contact the state to verify that they have received the exams and any necessary pre-licensing education completion information. Also ensure that they have reported this to NIPR with the correct last name, social security number and date of birth.
Renew a license
To renew a license in South Carolina, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t renew a particular line offered via NIPR, verify that the line is actively held in your resident state. If the line is not held, you cannot request that line via NIPR.

Report changes to Affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers
Submit changes to affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers (DRLPs) via the LicenseHub.
Report changes to Owners, Officers, Partners or Directors
For changes to Owners, Partners, Officers or Directors email a signed, written request on agency letterhead to the South Carolina DOI. The request should contain the affected officer(s) name, title and, if applicable, license number/National Producers Number.
Email the request as an attachment to AgentMail@DOI.SC.gov.
