- All fees are per LOA / LOA Combination
- Processing Fee: Application Processing fee of $20 is charged for each license class offered to an individual.
- Individuals: Each LOA is $100 unless a special fee rule is noted below. Some LOAs are charged only $100 fee if applied for simultaneously applying for a license. These combination LOA rules apply to first time licenses.

Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
- Submit Surplus Lines for individuals.
- Add lines of authority (amend) to an existing active license.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's Non-Resident License (NRL) Application.
- Print Licenses Electronically.
Business Rules
Georgia Department of Insurance requires every applicant to verify proof of lawful presence in the United States by submitting a signed, notarized copy of the Citizenship Affidavit Form and a copy of one secure and verifiable identification document.
If applicant responds "yes" to any of the background questions supporting documents must be electronically uploaded via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
Applicants must submit all required documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse before the application can be processed.
Applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
Applicant's name, birth date, license number, state of residence, Tax ID and National Producer Number (NPN) must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant must provide a valid country code and business email.
Applicant may not apply for a license in their own resident state.
Applicant may not use a P.O. Box in the business or residence addresses.
Applicants applying for Variable products must hold or apply simultaneously for life and must supply FINRA CRD number on application.
Applicants applying for Surplus Lines must hold agent-non-resident Property and Casualty license.
Applicants applying for a Counselor license with Counselor Life must apply for Counselor-Accident and Sickness and vice versa.
Applicants applying for a Counselor license with Counselor Property must also apply for Counselor-Casualty and vice versa.
