Fees shown are state fees only. These fees do not include NIPR transaction fees.

  • Fees are per application.
  • Business entities will apply through Non-Resident Licensing rather than Non-Resident Adjuster Licensing.

Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit adjuster application for individuals electronically.
  • Reinstate a license through NIPR’s Non-Resident Adjuster Licensing Application.
  • Print licenses electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit adjuster application for business entities electronically.
  • Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
  • Add lines of authority to an existing active license electronically.

Business Rules

  • Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant’s date of birth.

  • Residence address may not contain a P.O. Box.

  • Applicant can apply for reinstatement through NIPR’s Non-Resident Adjuster Licensing Application with an additional fee up to 365 days after license expiration.

  • If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.
