- Report changes of address, name changes, or changes to a business entity's principals (officers, members, directors, designated responsible producer, etc.) within thirty (30) days. ARS § 20286(C).
- Report administrative actions within thirty (30) days after the final disposition of the case. ARS § 20301(A).
- Report criminal convictions within thirty (30) days after the filing date. ARS § 20–301(B).
- Renew the license prior to its expiration. Whether the Department of Insurance, as a courtesy, notifies a licensee of an upcoming license expiration, the licensee is solely responsible for fulfilling all license renewal requirements prior to the license expiration.
- Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge. Use the Arizona Department of Insurance state website as a resource for Arizona laws, rules, regulatory bulletins, and other important information.
Rights and Responsibilities:
- Licensing time frames. Once the Arizona Department of Insurance receives the application, it has up to one hundred and twenty (120) days to determine whether it contains all required information and is therefore "administratively complete," and up to an additional sixty (60) days to review the substance of the application. These timeframes are the outer limits by which the Department must grant or deny a license application. The Department processes most applications within thirty (30) days.
- Once your application is submitted to the Department, you have 60 days to cure any deficiencies on the application or the application will be administratively withdrawn and the fees forfeited.
Renewal Periods
All License Classes offered through Resident License Renewal
Renewal Period Begins: Ninety (90) days prior to expiration.
Renewal Period Ends: License Expiration Date.
Late Renewal Period: Starts the day after license expiration date, up to one (1) year past license expiration date.

You may select your resident state on the following link: Verify My CE to view your CE transcript and determine whether the state has updated your status to compliant in their system and on what date. It generally takes up to 72 hours from the compliance date for the status to be updated in our system.
