  • Producer applicants can amend licenses within their current groupings free of charge, but will be charged ($150) if adding an LOA outside of groupings they already hold.

Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
  • Submit major lines of authority.
  • Submit limited lines of authority.
  • Submit surplus lines for individuals.
  • Add lines of authority (amend) to an existing active license.
  • Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's Non-Resident License (NRL) Application.
  • Print license electronically

Business Rules

  • Applicant must provide both a valid business and personal email address.

  • Applicants for the variable line of authority (LOA) must supply FINRA CRD number on application.

  • A producer licensed with a casualty LOA may sell travel without a separate license or qualification.

  • If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via email at: insurancelicensing@wyo.gov.
