Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License Application.
- Print licenses electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority
- Submit limited lines of authority.
- Submit a partial renewal. All Lines of Authority must be renewed.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Applicant must provide either residence or business address that is not in the state of Connecticut.
Life Settlement Investment Agent and Life Settlement Broker license types do not have a late renewal period. After license expiration date applicant must use initial licensing application (NHS) to reapply.
Applicants with a status reason of Voluntary Surrendered are ineligible for renewal and must reapply as a new applicant
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
Renewal Periods
All License Classes
- Renewal Period: Ninety (90) days prior to expiration.
Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
Renewal period
Thirty (30) days prior to expiration date - expiration date of license
Late renewal period
Up to one (1) year after expiration date.
Continuing Education
- NIPR verifies compliance with the states CE requirement prior to allowing submission of a renewal application. You may select your resident state on the following link: Verify My CE to view your CE transcript and determine whether the state has updated your status to compliant in their system and on what date. It generally takes up to 72 hours from the compliance date for the status to be updated in our system.
- Pharmaceutical Sales Representative-Applicant must be CE compliant in order to renew. A total of 5 hours is required. All hours must be in your CE transcript before you renew your Oregon license. CE providers are allowed 15 days to upload courses. If it has been more than that, please contact your provider.
