Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application – please see below for details

Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority
- Submit limited lines of authority.
- Submit a partial renewal. All Lines of Authority must be renewed.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Applicant must provide either residence or business address that is not in the state of Oregon.
Each Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) entered must hold an active license in Oregon on the Producer Database (PDB). If an unlicensed DRLP is supplied the transaction will be declined. Note: if DRLP is left blank, transaction will be allowed.
Applicants with Voluntary Surrendered status reason are not eligible for renewal and must reapply through initial licensing application.
Vehicle Rental Company, Portable Electronics, and Self-Service Storage License may late renew an expired non-resident license within one year from expiration date.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
