Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
  • Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License Application.
  • Print license electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit major lines of authority.
  • Submit limited lines of authority.

Business Rules

  • Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.

  • Applicant must provide either residence or business address that is not in the state of Oregon.

  • Applicants applying for Life Settlement Investment Agent must supply FINRA CRD # on the application.

  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Oregon Division of Financial Regulation no longer issues printed initial, renewal, or replacement licenses. All license information for active licensees is available on the Oregon Web site. If your application has been processed and approved, you can view your license status or print the official copy of your license by visiting http://www.nipr.com/map_producer_licensing.htm

  • Life Settlement Investment Agent and Life Settlement Broker license types may not be actively held simultaneously.

  • All Pharmaceutical Sales Representative applicants must submit documentation with a description of the business in which the applicant will engage to the Attachments Warehouse for Additional Licensing Documents.

  • If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
