Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for business entities electronically.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Applicant must provide a business address that is not in the state of Connecticut.
Each Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) entered must hold an active license in Oregon on the Producer Database (PDB). If an unlicensed DRLP is supplied the transaction will be declined.
- Note: if DRLP is left blank, transaction will be allowed.
Oregon Division of Financial Regulation no longer issues printed initial, renewal, or replacement licenses. All license information for active licensees is available on the Oregon Web site. If your application has been processed and approved, you can view your license status or print the official copy of your license by visiting http://www.nipr.com/map_producer_licensing.htm
Vehicle Rental, Portable Electronics, and Self-Service Storage License applicants may reapply for a new license one year after expiration date. If application is made within one year of expiration send applicant to NHSR to late renew.
Life Settlement Investment Agent, Life Settlement Broker and Third Party Administrator must reapply the day after expiration date. If before expiration applicant must use renewal application.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
