Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit adjuster for individuals electronically.
  • Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
  • Reinstate a license electronically.
  • Add lines of authority to an existing active license electronically.
  • Print license electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit adjuster for business entities electronically.

Business Rules

  • P.O. Box addresses will not be accepted for resident or business addresses.

  • Oklahoma would like application for adjusters to only contain one adjuster exam grouping per application. The groupings for adjuster licenses are as follows:

  • P.O. Box addresses will not be accepted for resident or business addresses.

    • Group 1:  Property/Casualty/Motor Vehicle
    • Group 2:  Workers' Compensation
    • Group 3:  Crime Fidelity Bonds
    • Group 4:  Crop/Hail
  • Applicant must provide a business phone and email address.

  • Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.

  • Public Adjusters cannot designate a home state.

  • If applicant holds an active resident non-adjuster license in a state that licenses resident adjusters, the applicant may not designate an Adjuster Designated Home State.

  • Accepted DHS states:

    • Alabama
    • Arkansas
    • Florida
    • Kentucky (Independent Adjuster ONLY, Staff Adjuster is NOT accepted)
    • Louisiana
    • Minnesota
    • Mississippi
    • Montana
    • New Hampshire
    • North Carolina
