Upload insurance documentation

All states use the NIPR Attachment Warehouse to receive, store and share licensing-related documents with regulators. The Warehouse has three different sections, each with a different purpose. Learn how and where to upload your documents.

Uploading documents

You may need to provide documentation to support license applications and renewals. This could be in response to answering yes to a uniform background question or if you were asked to provide additional documentation. Upload and manage these documents in the NIPR Attachments Warehouse.

Background Questions Supporting Documentation
Upload supporting documentation for any "yes" answers to a uniform background question in the NAIC Uniform Application
Reporting of Actions
Report any new criminal, civil or administrative actions taken against you
Additional Licensing Documents
Provide documents related to proof of citizenship, continuing education, name changes, and bonds

Streamline insurance licensing tasks

Insurance producers and authorized submitters can use LicenseHub to complete tasks related to licensing applications — applying and renewing, managing contact change requests, reviewing order histories, printing receipts, pulling producer detail reports and more.

Look up a National Producer Number

A National Producer Number (NPN) is a unique NAIC identifier assigned during the licensing application process. NPNs are assigned to individuals and business entities in the Producer Database (PDB).

Check your application status

With your transaction, payment or order number, you can check the status of your application. States typically take 7 to 10 days to review applications. If you don’t see an update, contact the state for assistance.
