Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Accepts adjuster for individuals electronically.
  • Print license electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.

Business Rules

  • Applicants will be allowed to late renew electronically if the license is less than thirty (30) days past expiration date and the line of authority has a status reason of expired.

  • Licenses expire the last day of the licensee's birth month in the first year after issuance in which licensee's age is divisible by two (2). Individuals born in even-numbered years renew their license at the end of their birth month in even-numbered years. Individuals born in odd-numbered years renew their license at the end of their birth month in odd-numbered years.

  • If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions, please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
