Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit contact change request for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB).
- Submit Email Changes.
- Submit Phone number Changes.
- Submit change to state code of residence address (Non-Resident only).
- Submit change to state code of business address (Non-Resident only).
- Submit change to state code of mailing address (Non-Resident only).
Applicant Cannot
- Submit change to state code of residence, business, and mailing addresses (Resident only).
- Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB).
- Track counties.
Business Rules
Address must match respective resident/home state license address.
P.O. Box is allowed for mailing addresses.
P.O. Box is not allowed for the business or residence address.
Applicant's Minnesota license record must be in an active status on PDB before a contact change request (CCR) transaction may be submitted.
Special Instructions
License Printing Fees:
After your license has been issued, you may obtain a copy of your license through Sircon, the state's license printing vendor.
Please note that Sircon charges a fee to obtain or print a copy of your license.
Important: This fee is charged and collected by Sircon, not NIPR. NIPR does not receive this fee and cannot modify or waive it. If you have questions about obtaining a copy of your license or the associated fee, please contact Sircon directly.
