Affiliated members: All members must hold an active resident or non-resident license in Massachusetts. Members must collectively cover all lines of authority requested on the application.
Surplus Lines Broker: All members listed for a Surplus Lines Broker must be actively licensed as resident or non-resident individual Surplus Lines Brokers in Massachusetts. The applicant must hold an active Producer license with Property and Casualty lines of authority to renew a Surplus Lines Broker license, unless the resident state does not have this requirement and issues a Surplus Lines Broker license without the Producer Property and Casualty lines.
