Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Designated Home State Adjuster Idaho applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Applicants for all license types will be allowed to late renew for up to one year past license expiration date. After one year past the expiration date, applicants will be allowed to reapply through initial licensing application.
Applicants with a status reason of Voluntary Surrender must reapply as a new applicant regardless of expiration date.
Applicants with a status reason of Revoked cannot reapply for a period of five years from the date the license was revoked.
All instances of phone number must be a valid 10 digit phone number (extensions are allowed).
- Individual applicants must supply a residence and/or business address that is not in Idaho.
- If residence and business address are in Idaho, the transaction will be declined.
- Residence and Business address fields must not contain a PO Box or PMB (Private Mailbox).
- PO Box and Private Mailbox (PMB) are allowed in the mailing address field.
Applicants who are not U.S. citizens must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Please submit legible copies of documents establishing your work eligibility (e.g., Work Visa/Green Card) to the NIPR Attachments Warehouse Additional Documents.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
