Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for business entities electronically.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Applicants for all license types will be allowed to late renew for up to one year past license expiration date. The status reason will be Expired. After one year past the expiration date, applicants will be allowed to reapply through initial licensing application.
Applicants with a status reason of Voluntary Surrender must reapply as a new applicant regardless of expiration date.
Applicants with a status reason of Revoked cannot reapply for a period of five years from the date the license was revoked.

All instances of phone number must be a valid 10 digit phone number (extensions are allowed).
Business Entity applicants must supply a business address that is not in Idaho. If business address supplied is in Idaho, the transaction will be declined.
- Business address fields must not contain a PO Box or PMB (Private Mailbox).
- PO Box and Private Mailbox (PMB) are allowed in the mailing address field.
Domestic Business Entities must register with the Secretary of State in Idaho. Please go to www.idsos.idaho.gov to find the forms and instructions for filing.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
