Please note that license class names can vary by state.

  • Applications for Other lines of authority will defer to state for approval.
  • Applicants applying for an Adjuster or Public Adjuster license must apply for both Property and Casualty with a property line of authority must also apply for a casualty line of authority.

Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit adjuster for individuals electronically.
  • Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
  • Reinstate a license electronically.
  • Add lines of authority to an existing active license electronically.
  • Print licenses electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit adjuster for business entities electronically.

Business Rules

  • Georgia Department of Insurance requires every applicant to verify proof of lawful presence in the United States by submitting a signed, notarized copy of the Citizenship Affidavit Form and a copy of one secure and verifiable identification document via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.

  • If applicant responds "yes" to any of the background questions supporting documents must be electronically uploaded via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.

  • Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old.
