Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit name and contact change requests for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB).
- Submit email changes.
- Submit phone number changes.
- Submit change to state code of mailing address (Non-Residents only).
- Submit change to state code of residence address (Individual Non-Residents only).
- Submit change to state code of business address (Non-Residents only).
- Submit change to state code of mailing address (Residents only).
Applicant Cannot
- Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB).
- Submit change to state code of residence address (Residents only).
- Submit change to state code of business address (Residents only).
Business Rules
Address Changes
- P.O. Box not allowed for business and residence addresses.
- For non-resident Connecticut licensee: Submitted business, mailing and residence address must match the current mailing address for resident/home state on PDB (if applicable) or a transaction must have already been submitted.
- State does not track counties.
Name Changes
State does not require submission of documentation to support name change requests.
