Fees

Fees shown are state fees only. These fees do not include NIPR transaction fees.

  • Per application.
  • Applicant will pay the NIPR transaction fee only.
  • Continuing Education (CE) Fees:
    • On time CE: $20
    • 1 - 30 days **: $25
    • 31 - 60 days ** : $50
    • 61 - 90 days ** : $100
    • 91 days - 1 year **: $150
  • CE filing fee is charged in addition to the renewal fee. Fee charged is per license class that requires CE, not per renewal application and not per applicant.
  • CE late filing fee is charged in addition to the renewal fee (based on license class) and the renewal CE filing fee.

Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
  • Submit renewals for major lines of authority.
  • Submit renewals for limited lines of authority.
  • Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
  • License printing available electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit partial renewals. Must renew all lines of authority.

Business Rules

  • Individual applicants must provide either Residence or Business address that is not in the state of Arkansas.

  • Applicants must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.

  • In order for an applicant to renew an Adjuster the applicant MUST NOT have an active resident adjuster license on PDB (in any state).

  • Background questions must all be answered "No".

  • If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.

  • License is eligible for renewal starting 90 days prior to expiration date on PDB.

  • No partial renewals are allowed. Applicant must renew all lines actively held in Arkansas that are offered electronically through NIPR.

  • Arkansas does not have a renewal grace period. The renewal is due on the expiration date of the license.

  • Arkansas requires affiliations.

  • CE is required for the Adjuster license.

  • In order for an adjuster applicant to renew through the No Home State renewal application the Designated Home State on PDB must be Arkansas.

  • Arkansas will allow reinstatements (late renewals) through No Home State Renewals if the license status is active and within 1 year after the license expiration date or if the license is Inactive with Expired or '.' status reason and is within 1 year after the license expiration date and LOA status date.

Renewal Periods

Renewal Period:

Starts: Ninety (90) days prior to expiration date.

Ends: Biennially on the last day of birth month.

Continuing Education

NIPR verifies compliance with the states CE requirement prior to allowing submission of a renewal application.
