Apply for a license

To apply for a license in Hawaii, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t apply for the lines for which you have qualified, contact the state to verify that they have received the exams and any necessary pre-licensing education completion information. Also ensure that they have reported this to NIPR with the correct last name, social security number and date of birth. 

Renew a license

To renew a license in Hawaii, visit LicenseHub.

If you can’t renew a particular line offered via NIPR, verify that the line is actively held in your resident state. If the line is not held, you cannot request that line via NIPR.

Cancel or surrender a line of authority

To cancel or surrender a line of authority:  

  • Request a Letter of Certification or a Letter of Clearance: Form LC

Report changes to Affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers

Hawaii is not an affiliation state. The following documents must be submitted to add/delete a designated representative.
