License management

Apply for a license

To apply for a license in Guam, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t apply for the lines for which you have qualified, contact the state to verify that they have received the exams and any necessary pre-licensing education completion information. Also ensure that they have reported this to NIPR with the correct last name, social security number and date of birth. 

Renew a license

To renew a license in Guam, visit LicenseHub.

If you can’t renew a particular line offered via NIPR, verify that the line is actively held in your resident state. If the line is not held, you cannot request that line via NIPR.

Visit the Regulatory Division page on the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation website. 

Cancel or surrender a line of authority

To cancel or surrender a line of authority email the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation. The email should be from the licensed person or representative of the entity and include their full name and license number.

Report changes to Affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers

Changes to affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers (DRLPs) should be submitted through the LicenseHub.

Report changes to Owners, Officers, Partners or Directors

For changes in Owners, Partners, Officers or Directors, email Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation. This email should include the name and title of the person they are requesting to add, delete or modify.

Understand residency type changes 

Send an email to the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation. This email should include your license number, old and new residence, business and mailing address and updated emails and phone numbers if applicable.

Find exam score validity period

Insurance exam scores in Guam are valid for 12 Months.
