Apply for a license

To apply for a license in New Hampshire, visit LicenseHub.
If you can’t apply for the lines for which you have qualified, contact the state to verify that they have received the exams and any necessary pre-licensing education completion information. Also ensure that they have reported this to NIPR with the correct last name, social security number and date of birth. 

Renew a license

To renew a license in New Hampshire, visit LicenseHub.

If you can’t renew a particular line offered via NIPR, verify that the line is actively held in your resident state. If the line is not held, you cannot request that line via NIPR.

Report a legal name change – individual or entity

To report a legal name change for an individual or entity, visit the LicenseHub.

 

Entities also need to register their updated name with the NH Secretary of State’s Corporate Division. To register, contact them at 603-271-3246.

Report changes to Affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers

For changes related to affiliations or Designated Responsible Licensed Producers (DRLPs), complete the Request to Change the Designated Responsible Licensed Producer form. Submit your completed form to the email, fax or the mailing address included on the form.  

Report changes to Owners, Officers, Partners or Directors

The NH Insurance Department does not track changes to Owners, Officers, Partners or Directors.
