Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit contact change request for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB).
- Submit Email Changes.
- Submit Phone number Changes.
- Submit change to state code of business address. (Individuals only)
- Submit change to state code of residence address (Non-Resident Licensees only).
- Submit change to state code of mailing address (Resident and Non-Resident Licensees).
- Submit change to state code of Business address for resident licensees for individuals.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB).
- Submit counties.
- Submit change to state code of residence address (Resident Licensees only).
- Submit change to state code of Business address for resident licenses for business entities.
Business Rules
Address must match respective resident/home state license address.
P.O. Boxes are not permitted in the applicant’s residence address fields.
Applicant’s Virginia license must be in active status on PDB.
For Virginia resident applicants, residence address must be the same.
Applicant’s phone number and/or fax number cannot begin with ‘1’.
For Individual Non-Resident Virginia licensee, applicant’s residence must not be in the state of Virginia.
For Business Non-Resident Virginia licensee applicants’ business addresses must not be in the state of Virginia.
Effective date will be the date the application is processed.
