Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority.
- Submit limited lines of authority.
- Submit partial renewals.
Business Rules
Applicant must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state.
Applicant must provide either a Residence or Business address that is not in the state of South Dakota.
Applicant must renew the license before applying for additional lines/ amending.
If applicants license status reason is Revoked or Suspended, application is not allowed. Please contact the South Dakota Division of Insurance directly at sdinsurance@state.sd.us.
Portable Electronics - Applicants must submit required documentation as required by South Dakota Codified Law 58-47-16. Please visit Division of Insurance Forms for more information.
