Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit adjuster license renewals for individuals electronically.
  • Print licenses electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit adjuster license renewals for business entities electronically.
  • Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) renewals electronically.
  • Submit partial renewals.

Business Rules

  • Business entities will apply through Non-Resident Licensing (NRL) rather than Non-Resident Adjuster Licensing (NRAR).

  • Applicant cannot apply earlier than (60) days prior to license expiration date

  • License renewal late cycle window will begin the day after license expiration and continue until 60 days after expiration for renewals with a late penalty fee.

  • Applicants cannot renew license day 1 through day 3 after expiration date (may renew on day 4).

Renewal Periods

Renewal Period: Ninety (90) days prior to the expiration date.

Late Renewal Period: Up to sixty days past the expiration date. 

Reinstatement: Sixty Fourth day after license expiration.
