Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for business entities electronically.
- Print licenses electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit renewals for major lines of authority.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident (No Home State) Renewal application.
- Submit partial renewals.
Business Rules
General Requirements
- Applicants cannot renew an inactive license. To obtain a New Hampshire license again, applicants must submit a new application through NIPR's Non-Resident No Home State Initial application.
- Applicants with a license status of 'Revoked' or 'Suspended' are not eligible to renew electronically.
- Applicants must renew all active lines of authority on the license. Partial renewals are not allowed.
Line of Authority Requirements
- Insurance Producer Title applicants must have a business address in Kentucky (KY) or Massachusetts (MA).
- Insurance Producer Motor Vehicle Road Service applicants must have a business address in Maine (ME), Florida (FL), Texas (TX), Iowa (IA), New Jersey (NJ), Massachusetts (MA), Illinois (IL), Ohio (OH), or Vermont (VT).
- Insurance Producer Credit applicants must have a business address in Maine (ME).
Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP)
- Applicants renewing the Credit line of authority must have a DRLP that holds the Credit, Life, or Accident and Health/Sickness line of authority.
- Each DRLP must hold an active resident or non-resident license in New Hampshire at the time the application is submitted.
- DRLPs must collectively cover all lines of authority requested on the application.
Background Questions & Documentation
- If an applicant responds "Yes" to any background question, supporting documentation must be submitted electronically through NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
- Documentation must be submitted within thirty (30) days of application submission or the application will be denied and fees forfeited.
- Documentation must include:
- A written statement explaining the circumstances.
- Official documentation showing the final resolution or judgment.
- Applicant name.
- Tax ID / FEIN.
- NIPR Transaction Number.
