Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for individuals electronically.
- Submit renewals for major lines of authority.
- Submit renewals for limited lines of authority.
- Submit renewals for surplus lines for individuals.
- Print Licenses Electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal Application.
- Submit partial renewals
Business Rules
Failure to renew by the license expiration date will result in cancellation of your license and appointments. To reinstate after expiration: a new adjuster application and fee of $150 will be required, per RSA: 400-A:29 ($75 License fee +$75 late fee). Process reinstatements at www.nipr.com, select "APPLY for LICENSE". Do not select Renew.
To reinstate after expiration: a new producer application and fee of $300 will be required, per RSA: 400-A:29 ($150 License fee +$150 late fee). Process reinstatements at www.nipr.com, select "APPLY for LICENSE". Do not select Renew.
Applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years old as determined from the applicant's date of birth.
Applicant's name, birth date, Tax ID, license number, state of residence and National Producer Number (NPN) must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant's mailing address must be either his or her residence address or a personal P.O. Box.
Applicant must provide a valid country code and business email.
Applicant cannot late renew an inactive license. Applicant must reinstate or reapply through NIPR's Non-Resident License (NRL) Application.
Applicant must not have an inactive resident license in the requested non-resident state.
Applicants with a status reason of revoked or suspended should not be allowed to apply.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse.
Renewal Periods

- For those adjusters licensed prior to 2020, New Hampshire will be transitioning to birth month cycle when they come up for renewal. First grouping are those expiring 10/1/20 and the 2nd and final group are the ones expiring 10/1/21.
