Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit initial license for individuals electronically.
- Add lines of authority (amend) to an existing active license.
- Reinstate/reapply through NIPR's No Home State License (NHS) Application.
- Print license electronically.
Applicant Cannot
- Submit major lines of authority.
Business Rules
Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.
Residence address must not be P.O. Box.

- Any documentation required by this Department must be received within thirty (30) days of application date and must include tax ID and transaction number. After that date the application will be declined and closed.

Applicant may not amend if within in renewal period.
Applicant may reinstate if status reason is Expired and application date is within 2 years of expiration date.
Insurance Producer Title applicants that do not have the state codes of KY and MA in either the business or residence address will not be eligible to apply.
Insurance Producer Travel applicants that do not have the state codes of FL, VA in the business or residence address will not be eligible to apply.
Insurance Producer Motor Vehicle Road Service applicants that do not have the state codes of ME, FL, TX, IA, NJ, MA, IL, OH, VT in either the business or residence address will not be eligible to apply.
Insurance Producer Credit applicants that do not have the state codes of ME in either the business or residence address will not be eligible to apply.
