Fees shown are state fees only. These fees do not include NIPR transaction fees.
- All fees are charged per application.
- Applicants for Organizational Credit will be charged the state fee plus $18 per person employed to sell contracts. Fee is calculated through a Non-Uniform Question (NUQ) in the application.
- The late renewal fee for Insurance Producer and Organizational Credit applicants will be an additional $25 per month for up to one year past license expiration date.
- The late renewal fee for General Bail Bond Corporation applicants will be an additional $25 per month for up to two years past the license expiration date.
PLEASE NOTE: If you receive a duplicate application warning from NIPR, please STOP and call the NIPR help desk or the department’s help desk at 573-751-3518 to determine the cause of the warning and prevent duplicate fee payments, which may not be refundable.
- Avoid these common errors that cause duplicate fee payments:
- Applicant marked the incorrect line of authority when completing the application.
- Applicant applied for a business entity producer (BEP) license that was already held by the BEP.
- Applicant completed two (2) identical applications.
- Applicant applied for a license they are not required to hold.

Applicant Can
- Submit renewals for business entities electronically.
- Submit renewals for major lines of authority.
- Submit renewals for limited lines of authority.
- Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal (NRR) Application.
- Print licenses electronically.
Business Rules
Applicant's name, Tax ID, license number, and state of residence must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant must not have a status of suspended, tax compliance, or revoked.
At least one (1) Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) must have an active resident or non-resident license in Missouri. Motor Vehicle Extended Services Contract are an exception to this rule.
Motor Vehicle Extended Services Contract applicants may reapply through Non-Resident Licensing application the day after expiration date. New licensing requirements will need to be met.
Business Entity Producer applicants with the exception of Motor Vehicle Extended Services Contract, will be allowed to late-renew their license electronically for up to one year past license expiration date.
Utilization Review applications must be submitted by the Owner, Partner, Officer or Director.
Public Adjuster Corporations applicants are required to submit supplemental documentation. You must be in good standing with the Missouri Secretary of State for approval of application.

If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via
NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents are stated as follows and may be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax:- A written statement summarizing the details of each incident.
- A copy of the petition, complaint or other document that commenced the lawsuit, arbitration, or mediation proceedings.
- A copy of the official document, which demonstrates the resolution of the charges or any final judgment.
