Business Rules
A state code change means changing an address from one state to another.
- An address change within the same state is not a state code change.
- If you are moving your residence to Mississippi or from Mississippi to another state, do not use the Contact Change Request form to complete that request. Contact the Mississippi Insurance Department and follow the instructions in the Residency Changes FAQ.
The address you submit must match the address on your resident state license record.
A P.O. Box may be used only as a mailing address. It cannot be used as a residence or business address.
- This rule applies to both resident and non-resident individuals and business entities.
