Insurance Producer Title applicants will be approved once the state verifies that bond(s) on file in the correct amount are still active. If exempt from the bond requirement, please submit documentation supporting exemption via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse Please visit the Maryland Title Information for additional information.

Applicant cannot late renew an inactive license. Applicant must reinstate or reapply through NIPR’s Non-Resident License Application.

With the exception of 'other' lines, applicant must have an equivalent active resident license when renewing for a non-resident license.

Applicant must hold an active Maryland Insurance Producer License with the Life line of authority to renew a Viatical Settlement Broker License.

Applicant must hold an active Adviser License with the Life line of authority to renew an Adviser License with the Variable line of authority.

Viatical Settlement Broker re-applications are allowed the day after expiration date.

Applicants with a Cancelled, Cancelled by Commissioner, or Voluntary license status must contact Maryland Insurance Administration directly if attempting to renew.
