Rules and Regulations
Applicant Can
- Submit adjuster for individuals electronically.
- Submit adjuster for business entities electronically.
- Submit Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
- Submit partial renewals.
- Print licenses electronically.
Business Rules
- Reinstatements:
- Inactive licenses that are not in "revoked" status are allowed to reinstate any time after the line of authority status date.
- Reinstatement applicants that have status reason code of "revoked" cannot apply for any license class until one (1) year after status date of the line of authority.
- Reinstatements are processed through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.

Renewal Periods

Late renewal period
Late license renewals are allowed electronically beginning the day following the license expiration date and will end 90 days past license expiration date. After 90 days past license expiration, the applicant must submit through initial licensing application.
