  • An affiliation is not required to apply for a license and the applicant may skip the "Affiliations" page on the uniform application. Amendments to existing licensees and reinstatement of license two (2) years after expiration as long as status reason is lapsed are also accepted electronically. If applicant previously held a license in Louisiana that is now lapsed, applicant must late renew that license using the renewal product. If applicant's Louisiana license has been lapsed for two (2) years or more, or if the Louisiana license has been inactive for any reason other than lapsed, applicant may, only then, submit an application through Non-Resident Licensing (NRL) that will be processed as a new license application.
