Rules and Regulations

Applicant Can

  • Submit renewals for business entities electronically.
  • Late renew through NIPR's Non-Resident Renewal No Home State Application.
  • Print license electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit renewals for limited lines of authority.
  • Submit Partial renewals. Must renew all lines of authority.

Business Rules

  • Applicant must provide a Business address that is not in the state of Arkansas.

  • Applicants must not have an active resident state license on PDB in any state

  • DRLP's are not required.

  • Applicant cannot renew earlier than 90 days prior to license expiration date.

  • Arkansas will allow reinstatements (late renewals) through No Home State Renewals if the license status is active and within 1 year after the license expiration date or if the license is Inactive with Expired or '.' status reason and is within 1 year after the license expiration date and LOA status date.

  • No partial renewals are allowed. Applicant must renew all lines actively held in Arkansas that are offered electronically through NIPR.

  • Arkansas does not have a renewal grace period. The renewal is due on the expiration date of the license.

  • All NHS applications will defer.

  • After approval, please allow up to two business days to view and print your license. Instructions may be found by clicking the state of Arkansas on the license print page: Print Your License.

Renewal Periods

  • Renewal Period Begins: Ninety (90) days prior to expiration date.
  • Renewal Period Ends: September 30 annually.
