PDB overview
About the PDB
The Producer Database (PDB) is a centralized repository of credentialing information that supports the insurance industry in tracking licensed professionals. It contains licensing details from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
To offer a more complete profile of producers, the PDB also incorporates data from external systems like the Regulatory Information Retrieval System (RIRS).
Benefits of the PDB
- Saves time and money
- Reduces paperwork
- Verifies license status across all participating states
- Provides a single source of information instead of accessing multiple state websites
Insurance professionals are eligible for one free detail report per year. If you plan to pull reports regularly, consider subscribing for ongoing access. For more information, contact us at 855-674-6477.
