Applicant's name, Tax ID, license number, and state of residence must match current Producer Database (PDB) record for resident state.
Applicant must provide a valid country code, mailing address, business email, and business phone number.
Applicant may not apply for a license in their own resident state.
North Dakota will allow reinstatement of a license the day after license expiration date. Prior to the expiration date applicant must use Non-Resident Renewal (NRR) Application unless the status is cancelled - voluntary surrender. Note: Excludes Business Entity Producers and third party administrator applicants.
At least one Designated Responsible Licensed insurance producer (DRLP) must be provided on the application and be actively licensed in North Dakota for the same lines of authority (LOAs) applied for. Excludes third party administrator (TPA) applicants.
Public Adjuster applicants must submit bond requirement of $20,000 to email@example.com
At least one Owner, Partner, Officer or Director must be entered on the application.
Business Entity Public Adjuster applicants have a 30-day grace period following license expiration date and should be allowed to submit through NRR for up to 30 days following license expiration date. Starting day 31 following license expiration, applicant should be able to reinstate through NRL
If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
