* Business entities will renew using Non-Resident Renewals (NRR) rather than Non-Resident Adjuster Renewals (NRAR).

Renewal Period

Applicant cannot apply earlier than first day of the month prior to birth month.


  • Inactive licenses that are not in "revoked" status are allowed to reinstate any time after the line of authority status date.
  • Reinstatement applicants that have status reason code of "revoked" cannot apply for any license class until one (1) year after status date of the line of authority.

Reinstatements are processed through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.

Business Rules

If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents electronically via NIPR's Attachments Warehouse. The documents may also be submitted to the state via mail, email, or fax.
