Public Adjuster

  • Renewal Fee: $50.00
  • Late Renewal Fee: $100.00
  • Please note that license class names can vary by state.
  • Applications for Other lines of authority will defer to state for approval.

Public Adjuster

  • No Line of Authority Required.

Applicant Can

  • Submit adjuster for individuals electronically.
  • Print licenses electronically.

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) electronically.
  • Submit partial renewals.

Business Rules

  • Applicant must hold an active renewable license in Iowa.

  • Non-resident license renewals are issued for two (2) years.

  • All applicants that have been cancelled, surrendered, or terminated for more than thirty (30) days must apply as a new non-resident adjuster through the NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.

  • Iowa does not have a grace period on license renewals.

  • License reinstatements can be processed for up to twelve (12) months past the license expiration date by reapplying through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster Renewal (NRAR) Application.

  • If the license has been not been renewed or inactive for more than twelve (12) months following expiration, it will be processed as a new application through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.
