* Business entities will renew using Non-Resident Renewals (NRR) rather than Non-Resident Adjuster Renewals (NRAR).

Renewal Period

Non-resident license renewals are issued for two (2) years.

All applicants that have been cancelled, surrendered, or terminated for more than thirty (30) days must apply as a new non-resident adjuster through the NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.

Iowa does not have a grace period on license renewals.

License reinstatements can be processed for up to twelve (12) months past the license expiration date by reapplying through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster Renewal (NRAR) Application.

If the license has been not been renewed or inactive for more than twelve (12) months following expiration, it will be processed as a new application through NIPR's Non-Resident Adjuster License (NRAL) Application.
