Arkansas adheres the following application process:
- Arkansas will require resident applicants to complete a resident licensing application prior to taking an exam.
- After a resident license application is submitted via NIPR, all individual applicants must complete the background check form using the link: https://www.ark.org/background-check/index.php/home/index/aid
- If an exam is required, the applicant should complete the ASP background check and submit the fee to the Arkansas State Police. When the background check and application are cleared, you will receive Authorization to test from PSI, which contains important information and next steps. This may take 2-5 days.
Once Arkansas Department of Insurance receives all required information, the resident application will be processed. Please note that license applications are processed in the order received after all forms and exams (if applicable) have been received. For questions or inquiries, email email@example.com.
